Frozen Snacks
Beat the heat by serving the kids these Frozen Snacks. Some of these recipes are using yogurt, so you can also keep the snacks healthier than serving regular ice cream.
Mix equal parts of frozen yogurt with whipped cream.
Place a Nilla Wafer in each compartment of a muffin tin.
Scoop a small dollop of frozen yogurt mixture onto the cookie. Top with a second cookie to make a sandwich. Refreeze and then enjoy!
This is really not a recipe at all, but simply a suggestion as a fun way to serve the kids yogurt. Place any flavor yogurt in a plastic baggie. Cut the corner off the baggie and squeeze discs of yogurt onto a cookie sheet. Freeze until firm. Then serve. |

Add the half 'n half, vanilla and sugar in the quart-sized bag. Place the ice and salt in the gallon bag. Zip both bags securely closed. Place the quart-sized bag in the bag of ice and start shaking. It will take about 5 minutes of vigorous shaking to make ice cream.
After 5 minutes, check on it. If it's still too thin, shake it some more. Let the kids add sprinkles or candies.
Let yogurt thaw for 5 minutes. Combine yogurt and juice with a mixer. Stir in the Cool Whip.
Place mixture in a small plastic bag. Cut the corner off and squeeze circles of yogurt onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Freeze until firm. Then serve.
